Daily Post Prompt
A person’s life is best judged at his/her funeral by counting on the qualitative and quantitative parameters of the crowd gathered to pay their last tribute/homage to the mortal remains of that person in memory of his/her thoughts, words or deeds.
This is the highest form of appreciation or ovation for anyone’s achievements.
Recently, early this month, one such ovation where a huge crowd of over 10 hundred thousands of people gathered was at the funeral of the former chief minister of the state of Tamil Nadu, India, the bold-and-a-beautiful queen.
Snapshot of a live telecast on TV
The highest number of people gathered for a chief minister’s funeral was for Mr.C.N.Annadurai with over 15 million people in 1969, followed by that of Dr.M.G.Ramachandran (popularly known as MGR), who was also a chief minister of the state.
